Timothy S. Messer, D.M.D.
Dr. Timothy Messer received his dental training at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. In addition to his private practice, he has served as a U.S. Navy Reserve Dental Corps officer since 2000.
Throughout his career, Dr. Messer has been a member of several prominent professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is also an associate member of the American Association of Endodontists and an L.D. Pankey Alumnus.
Dr. Messer is committed to gaining knowledge of the newest dental procedures and techniques in order to offer the best care possible. He is affiliated with the Pankey Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing technical and philosophical education to dentists.
Dr. Messer also wants to help others. He is an active Give Kids a Smile Day participant and he contributed to Hurricane Katrina dental outreach efforts. Through these projects Dr. Messer has donated about two to three months of free services to those in need.
Andrea S. Messer, D.M.D.
Dr. Andrea Messer received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Dr. Messer was awarded one of only five general residency vacancies at the University of Louisville. During her residency, she practiced at the dental facilities of both the University Health Sciences Center and the Veterans Administration Medical Center.
A believer in the upholding of professional standards, Dr. Andrea Messer supports several prestigious professional organizations. She is a current member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the L.D. Pankey Alumni Association.
In order to provide the best dental care to her patients, Dr. Messer continues to attend courses and seminars in the field. She has received continuing education units from the Pankey Institute. Through the institute, Dr. Messer is able to study not only advanced clinical procedures, but also theories and philosophies to enhance experiences for patients.
Extending her desire for enrichment, Dr. Messer also helps others outside of Messer Dental Group. She is active in several charitable organizations including the Junior League of Memphis, Give Kids a Smile Day, and dental outreach efforts for victims of Hurricane Katrina.
